What we collect

When you sign up for texts or email: your phone number, your email address if you give one, and a record of your consent, which includes the date and time, the page you were on, and the exact wording you agreed to.

When you contact us: whatever you send us by email, phone or Instagram.

When you book: booking happens on Vagaro, not on this site. What you enter there is held by Vagaro under their privacy policy, and we see it as your appointment record.

Automatically: our host keeps standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics.

What we use it for

To send you the promotions and studio news you asked for, to answer you when you get in touch, to manage appointments, and to keep the site working. That is all. We do not use your information to build profiles or to target ads.

Text message program

What you get: recurring marketing text messages from No Choice Beauty Studio about promotions, new services and studio news. Signing up is never a condition of buying anything from us.

How often: message frequency varies, up to about 4 messages per month.

Cost: message and data rates may apply. Those are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.

How to stop: reply STOP to any message and you are unsubscribed. You will get one confirmation and then nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or email lanochoice@gmail.com.

Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed on every carrier.

Sharing: No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts on our behalf, and only so it can deliver them. Consent records are never shared for marketing.

Who can sign up: you must be 18 or older and be the account holder or authorized user of the phone number you enter.

Email

If you give us your email address, we may send studio news and offers. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect right away. Appointment and receipt emails are not marketing and will still reach you.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of services to run the business, and they only receive what they need to do their job: Vagaro for booking and payments, Netlify for hosting this site and receiving form submissions, and our messaging and email providers for sending what you signed up for. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of the number and the opt-out so we do not text you again by mistake, and we keep the original consent record for as long as the law requires us to be able to show it.

Your California rights

If you live in California, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, ask us to correct it, and ask us not to sell or share it. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not treat you differently for asking. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reputable providers and limit who at the studio can see your details. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes

If we change this page we will update the date at the top. For a material change to the text message program, we will tell you before it takes effect.
